The scholarships will be allocated by the SMACCs consortium and based on the Mobility Paths selections, along with the application quality and the availability of funds.<\/p>\n<div class=\"accordion\">\n\n<div id=\"accordion-1619251490\" class=\"accordion-item\"><a id=\"accordion-1619251490-label\" href=\"#\" class=\"accordion-title plain\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"accordion-1619251490-content\"><button class=\"toggle\" aria-label=\"Toggle\"><i class=\"icon-angle-down\"><\/i><\/button><span>1- ERASMUS MUNDUS SCHOLARSHIPS (given by EU)<\/span><\/a><div id=\"accordion-1619251490-content\" class=\"accordion-inner\" aria-labelledby=\"accordion-1619251490-label\">\n\n<p>The SMACCs Programme has a total of 65 scholarships to offer over the next 3 years of the programme (entry September 2019-September 2021).<\/p>\n<p>EMJMD student scholarships can be offered to students from any region of the world &#8211; however no more than 3 from the same country or with the same nationality will be awarded in the same intake. The scholarships&#8217; terms depend on the student&#8217;s country of origin and residence (please also the notes below about nationality, residency and the 12-month rule). \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>For the next cohort (September 2019) 25 Erasmus Mundus scholarships will be available. The allocation of scholarships will be announced by May 25th 2019.<\/p>\n<p>The EMJMD student scholarship includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>student participation costs (including tuition fees, full\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.marshconnect.eu\/emis2MC.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">insurance coverage<\/a>\u00a0and any other mandatory costs related to the students&#8217; participation in the course)<\/li>\n<li>a contribution to student travel and installation costs<\/li>\n<li>a monthly subsistence allowance for the entire duration of the EMJMD study programme<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<table width=\"100%\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"15%\">\n<p>Contribution to the participation costs (tuition fees)<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<td width=\"83%\">\n<p>Up to 4,000 EUR per year per scholarship holder from a Programme Country<\/p>\n<p>Up to 8,000 EUR per year per scholarship holder from a Partner Country<\/p>\n<p>Any amount in excess of these maximum contributions will be covered by the SMACCs Consortium and <strong>will not<\/strong> be charged to the scholarship holders.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"15%\">\n<p>Contribution to the travel and installation costs<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<td width=\"83%\">\n<p>1,000 EUR per year per scholarship holder\u00a0<strong>resident\u00a0<\/strong>in a Programme country for travel costs<\/p>\n<p>2,000 EUR per year for travel costs + 1,000 EUR for installation costs for a scholarship holder\u00a0<strong>resident\u00a0<\/strong>in a Partner country\u00a0located less than 4,000 km from the EMJMD coordinating HEI (University of Mons)<\/p>\n<p>3,000 EUR per year for travel costs + 1,000 EUR for installation costs for a scholarship\u00a0holder\u00a0<strong>resident\u00a0<\/strong>in a Partner country located 4,000 km or more from the EMJMD coordinating HEI (University of Mons)<\/p>\n<p>Distance is calculated by the Consortium using the EACEA calculator\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/programmes\/erasmus-plus\/tools\/distance_en.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">http:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/programmes\/erasmus-plus\/tools\/distance_en.htm<\/a><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"15%\">\n<p>Contribution to subsistence costs<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<td width=\"83%\">\n<p>1,000 EUR per month for the entire duration of the EMJMD study programme (24 months maximum)<\/p>\n<p>Contribution to subsistence costs will\u00a0<strong>not\u00a0<\/strong>be given to scholarship holders for the EMJMD periods (study\/research\/placement\/thesis preparation) spent in their country of residence, nor to scholarship holders from a Partner country for the EMJMD periods exceeding one trimester (i.e. 3 months or the equivalent of 15 ECTS credits) spent in any Partner country.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<h1>Programme and Partner details<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1>Notes<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li>Students whose citizenship is one of the Erasmus+ Partner Countries count as Partner Country students.<\/li>\n<li>Partner Country students who are not residents nor have carried out their main activity (studies, training or work) for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in any Programme Country are considered as Partner Country students<\/li>\n<li>The five-year reference period for this 12-months rule is calculated backwards as from the submission deadline (defined by the consortia) of applying for an EMJMD student scholarship.<\/li>\n<li>Students whose citizenship is one of the Erasmus+ Programme Countries count as Programme Country students. Students with a Partner Country citizenship who do not fulfil the Partner Country criteria defined above (12-months rule) count as Programme Country students.<\/li>\n<li>Students with a double nationality (of a Partner and of a Programme Country) must specify the nationality under which they submit their scholarship application.<\/li>\n<li>Proof of country of residency is required in calculating the grant. Each applicant\u2019s place of residence will normally be verified based on the basis of the provision of the documents listed in the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.consilium.europa.eu\/prado\/en\/prado-start-page.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EU PRADO<\/a> For example:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>A residence certificate issued in accordance with the candidate&#8217;s municipality normal registration rules (normally under category H on the PRADO website);<\/li>\n<li>If your country of residence has no residency documents listed on the PRADO website, then a certificate from the candidate&#8217;s place of work, study or training issued by the employer or institution in question;<\/li>\n<li>The following are not adequate proof of residence: passport, driving license.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Both documents must have been issued within 12 months before the submission deadline of applying for an EMJMD student scholarship, i.e. the consortium&#8217;s official deadline for student application.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n<div id=\"accordion-3183624379\" class=\"accordion-item\"><a id=\"accordion-3183624379-label\" href=\"#\" class=\"accordion-title plain\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"accordion-3183624379-content\"><button class=\"toggle\" aria-label=\"Toggle\"><i class=\"icon-angle-down\"><\/i><\/button><span>2- CONSORTIUM SCHOLARSHIPS (industrial scholarships)<\/span><\/a><div id=\"accordion-3183624379-content\" class=\"accordion-inner\" aria-labelledby=\"accordion-3183624379-label\">\n\n<p>The consortium may be able to offer extra industrial scholarships for EU and Non-EU candidates applying to SMACCs. The number and amount of scholarships will be fixed according to the fund availability.<\/p>\n<p>It will be distributed according to candidate CV\u2019s quality and their motivation.<\/p>\n<p>A full scholarship is not given.
